$108 Osechi set: how to order. I whatsapp them, but on hindsight, should make sure they got my name.
Ingredients:
Smoked salmon in ranch sauce, yellowtail grilled in yuan style, roast beef with ginger truffle sauce, beef tongue, iberian pork porchetta, smoked duck
shrimp steamed in garlic (wish for a long life, eg your back has bent over like a shrimp)
Chestnut and sweet potato (good fortune as the yellow colour resembles gold)
Datemaki (scroll like omelette shape symbolizes knowledge)
Kuromame (the dark colour represents suntan so the wish is to be healthy and productive)
Tatsukuri (small crispy sardines customarily scattered as a fertiliser, wishing for a good harvest)
As a Japanese person, I've been there 50 times just for beer. 🙆🏻♂️ The owner's response and service are so wonderful that even Japanese people can put them to shame. 🙇🏻

Decent selection of beers but the staff gaslighted me on the number of beers I had. I clearly had only 3 beers but the staff (1) inflated my bill to 5 beers, and (2) after I protested, claimed that another staff member “obviously wrongly billed me” and reduced the bill to 4 beers. I did not argue further because I didn’t want to ruin my Christmas evening over $30, but will not go back again. Terrible and dishonest service.

Variety of beers was amazing! Staff was very helpful even though they were busy serving other customers. Went there quite late but they were still very hospitable and friendly and serviced me with a sweet smile. Would definitely come back again for my beer fix!
